How did your partner propose?
Josh got his Dad and my Uncle to fly a banner over the beach in Mexico which read “Georgia will You Marry Me?” when I turned round Josh was on one knee. Very Romantic!

Where did you get married?
Mexico (the exact same beach we got engaged on)

Where was the reception held?

I had a Mexican reception and a London reception once we returned to London. We had it in the Bromley Court Hotel and it was beautiful.

What dress did you wear?

With the help from the girls at Gillian Roberts I picked a Mori Lee dress, but added a few extras myself that the ladies really helped me with. Even down to matching lace for my shoulder straps and veil, they were perfect!

And the bridesmaids?

I bought my bridesmaids dresses from Watters, I was really fussy and these were the only ones I could find that we all liked!

What were your bridal shopping experiences like?

Amazing! I want to do it all again from start to finish.

How did you know you’d found the perfect gown?

I tried on several dresses but Mori Lee Kaitlin just made me smile more than others, I felt so confident in it.

Which accessories did you wear and how did you choose them?

I kept it really simple, I wanted my dress and veil to have all the attention so I just wore a pair of stud earrings.

And shoes?
I opted for a pair of Dune tie up shoes, they were the most comfy and I’m still obsessed with them now.

What did your husband wear?
Being in a hot country it was really difficult for him to decide what he wanted to wear but we stuck with suit trousers in Chelsea check and a Grandad collarless shirt and braces. All the other groomsmen wore waistcoats to make them look a little different.

How did you feel when you saw each other for the first time at the ceremony?
We cried! A moment we will never forget!

What was your theme?
I did’nt really have a theme, I stuck with a very plain colour palette of whites and pale pinks.

Who did the photography?
In Mexico we had a fabulous man called Marc from “Fun in the Suns weddings ” and in London we had Charlene Webb. We could’nt recommend them enough!

What was the best moment for you? Your highlights?
Best moments, seeing my dad for the first time in my dress was very emotional. The reception dinner, as crazy as it sounds was so lovely to see all of our family in front of us enjoying themselves and everyone had one thing in common that day and that was to celebrate us. And the speeches! My Dad, Brother and Josh’s speech still makes me cry to this day.

Did anything go wrong on the day?

I was running so late! The photographer turned up I still had pins in my hair and no dress on. I was in such a rush my mum nearly forgot to button my dress up!

Any funny stories from the day?

The lead up to my wedding my brother in law kept asking me what he should wear to the wedding – he was our witness. After telling him a thousand times smart shorts and shirt would be perfect he teased and said he would be coming dressed as Mr motivator… at our Mexican reception he did exactly that! And then again at our London reception!! It was hilarious!

What was your best buy? Instead of paying for someone to do my makeup paid for my sister to go on a MUA course so that we could have that special time together, my big sister doing my makeup for my wedding day will be one of the things I remember for the rest of my life.

Any wedding suppliers or services you would recommend? Gillian Roberts of course! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The girls who do the alterations also. They listened to everything I wanted especially in my veil and made it perfect!!
